What Our Customers Say
Fawn B - Auditory Processing Disorder Course
This course should be a required course for every classroom teacher. I have no doubt this disorder is much more prevalent than is thought due to the fact that teachers (the front line) are not even aware that it exists. This needs to change because the symptoms are real and definitely affect the child, family, and teachers the entire time that child is in school. Each child that has this can be helped by learning skills to overcome the deficits, but if they do not know that they have it...they can't learn skills that will help them throughout their life.
Carol S - Differentiated Instruction for ELLs Course
I really liked the balance between scholarly articles and practical applications that I was able to use right away in my class. Very few PD courses try to find this balance and I appreciate it! I also found it very helpful that the instructor had included links for videos with teachers using that strategies. It was great to see the practice in action so I had a better idea of how to use it in my own classroom.
Leah G - Strategies for Teaching Study Skills
I really liked that this class provided relevant information and strategies that I could take back to my classroom immediately.
Theresa S - Strategies for Teaching Study Skills
This course gave many awesome strategies to utilize within my special ed classroom as well as the general ed classroom. It was a very user friendly course. Many of the strategies and learning techniques are something that gen ed teachers will be able to implement within their class. I am excited to share all the information I learned with my colleagues and students!
Kathy S - Strategies for Teaching Study Skills
This class was very helpful to establish better study skills for the Special Ed student.
Kathy S - Managing ADHD and LD In the Classroom
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you. I was very pleased that this course was offered and am excited to utilize what I have learned within my classroom. I have shared much of the content already with other staff and am working on trying to get some PD time to rework our current math units. My students have actually said although my questions make them work harder it has helped them "figure things out" better! You did an amazing job of designing this course and were very quick to reply to my questions and grade submissions. I look forward to working with you again in the future.
Thank you so much for the great course this summer on PBL. I was able to utilize so much of what I did in the course in our grade level summer literacy planning sections. It changed my perspective completely and overall approach to planning. I look forward to taking more classes with you in the future as I found the setup of the course easy to follow and content valuable.
Danielle - NYC School Principal
This course was absolutely fantastic, and I would certainly recommend it to a friend or colleague! The material was very relevant to what I want and need to do in the classroom. I have been intimidated by Project Based Learning and attempting to implement it in my classroom. This course broke it down into manageable chunks, and by the end, I was beyond excited to implement my first project based learning project in my classroom!
